Instructions
In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Add the turmeric powder, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Whisk to combine. Reduce heat and let it simmer for a few minutes. Remove from heat and add honey or maple syrup, if using. Pour into a cup and enjoy warm.
Turmeric Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon oil or ghee
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
